Zoagli is a very charming village located in the Tigullio Gulf, between Chiavari and Rapallo about 30 kilometers from the city of Genoa.
It is a very popular destination and attracts tourists from all parts of the world.
The history of this pearl of the Ligurian Riviera is linked to the excellence of the famous silk mills that, over the centuries, have made this city one of the most important textile producers in Europe, with an extraordinary production of silk fabrics.
Its scenic beauty characterized by rocks, sea and breathtaking vistas is what makes it so fascinating along with its ancient seafaring traditions, particularly the feast of the Madonna of the Sea, a bronze sculpture that is located almost three meters underwater and is celebrated every year with a dive by divers to lay a laurel wreath on it.
Zoagli also lends itself greatly to hiking enthusiasts, offering beautiful walks such as “The Five Bell Towers” so named because it connects five different churches in a scenic and nature trail.
